Kindergarten:

The Kindergarteners are learning the parts of the body, with emphasis on the parts of the face.  I have been using songs, games, and a pattern activity  in class to reinforce and practice this vocabulary.

4th Grade:

The 4th graders have been working on food vocabulary. They are working on the structures “Quiero” (I want) and “¿Qué quieres?” (What do you want?) with the food words to practice talking about what someone wants to eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They have put together a short dialogue using these structures which will be presented to the class using props.

5th Grade:

The fifth graders are also working on food vocabulary.  This is being combined with structures using the verb gustar which enables students  to talk about what different people like and dislike to review the food vocabulary. Fifth graders have also created commercials to advertise "their restaurants".
