Semana del 10 de octubre

Preschool and PreK:  We started learning the parts of the face. We played a game called "Silly faces" to hear the words repeated. With the parts of the face, we reviewed numbers, colors and "Tienes?" (Do you have?)
Vocabulary: ojos, orejas, boca, nariz, pelo, cara

Kindergarten:  We finished Unidad 1 de Hola, ninos! We reviewed the vocabulary:
chico, chica, estoy bien, estoy mal, buenos dias, buenas tardes, buenas noches, se llama, numeros, colores.

First Grade: We worked on practicing writing the numbers 1-20, reading them and completing a crossword puzzle.  We also reviewed the vocabulary in Unidad 2 de Hola, ninos!: gordo, flaco, tiene sed, tiene hambre, come, esta bien, esta mal, gato, pez.

Second Grade: The three words for this week were: esta contenta, esta triste, llora. We made up stories and acted them out.

Third Grade:  The words in Episodio 2: el martes, la aspiradora, llega, la criada, prende, la radio, se duerme, otra vez, Que ruido!
We continued to practice telling the date, counting by 2s, 5s and 10s up to 100.

Fourth Grade:  The words for Episodio 4: el jueves, tiene mucho hambre, abre, cierra, el refrigerador, la puerta, el iman, se pega, Que ridiculo!
We continued to practice telling the date, counting by 2s, 5s and 10s up to 1,000.

Fifth Grade:  The words for Episodio 4: el jueves, tiene mucho hambre, abre, cierra, el refrigerador, la puerta, el iman, se pega, Que ridiculo!
We continued to practice telling the date, counting by 2s, 5s and 10s up to 1,000.
Students created and performed dialogues using greetings and expressions of hello and goodbye.
They also worked on a packet practicing writing and reading the numbers. These packets will go home this week.
