We started by reviewing classroom expectations:
Listen with the intent to understand.
Ask if you have questions.
Speak as much Spanish as possible.
One person speaks and the rest listens.
When we are telling a story there is nothing to distract you on your desk.
To find their seats, students were asked to match their card. Ask your child what character he/she was today! Give them extra points if they can tell you in Spanish what color they were!
As we were reviewing vocabulary with a story, some students were asked to create posters for our classroom. Signs are more meaningful if they are student-made.
Finally, here is how they can ask to go to the bathroom and to get a drink:
Buen fin de semana! Have a great weekend!
Sra. Meli
